Learning Leaders update
We had a wonderful World Read Aloud Day and we hope to have more special days through out this year.
We shall work on some of the junior books and maybe work on an OLA writing day were all classes work separately and work on their own writing story.

World Read Aloud Day
Last Friday our school and Hoon Hay school got together to celebrate World Read Aloud Day. It was a huge success and everyone enjoyed it!
It was a day to celebrate the "power of words" and a day to get two communities of readers together to show everyone we value reading!

Introductions
Hi – We are Ellie, Grace, Emma and Luke and we
are the Learning Leaders for 2014. It is our job to promote learning in our
school community. We are always looking for ways to do this. This week on
Wednesday it was World Read Aloud Day and we had organised to get together with
Hoon Hay school and have all the OLA Year 7/8 students reading to all the
classes at both schools. The weather was against us but we have postponed this
to Friday morning. A separate notice will come home about this today.
